Location: the hotel was just next door to bus station as well as a hill. It also was on safari in Bundala. I was offered a room with magnificent views on the nearby national park and a variety of birds that live there;))

The staff was very hospitable and helpful, helped with every request.

It made our trip to Hambantota a really really nice experience. the hotel was perfect. - the staff were affable. - the room was spacious, provided us with views over the National Park, a balcony, plus A/C. - the venue was in a great location right next to a lagoon and a wildlife park.

The spacious room offers fantastic views of the national park, and the friendly staff are always ready to assist.

The owner at this place is a mind reader, they catered to my every whim and made sure I was completely satisfied. The buffet breakfast was so good, I had to roll myself out of there!

As a bonus, I got to spend some quality time with a family of cockroaches in the bathroom. Lovely company, really.

The location of the cottages is fantastic, right next to the lagoon and reserve. the staff was friendly and accommodating. - the room was spacious and well laid out, the balcony was a nice touch.

the double room was clean. the location is amazing, close to nature elements like a hill and a national park. 3. A variety of birds can be found nearby. The Bundala Flamingo Cotteges in Hambantota are ideal for nature lovers. the clean double rooms offer a comfortable stay while the amazing location provides easy access to a nearby hill and national park where different bird species can be observed.

The rooms at Bundala Flamingo Cottages were absolutely amazing! The natural clay covering gave them a modern rustic charm that I absolutely loved. The spacious and elegant rooms facing the lake provided breathtaking views that made my stay a lifetime experience. It was so refreshing to wake up to the unpolluted air and enjoy the peacefulness from the balcony. And the private bathroom with free toiletries was a nice touch!

One thing I liked less was that there was no karaoke or casino at Bundala Flamingo Cottages. But hey, that's just my personal taste.

What an incredible experience! The location of this place is absolutely mind-blowing, right on the edge of Bundala Bird Sanctuary. The view from our balcony overlooking the lagoon was jaw-dropping. Chamin, our knowledgeable birder and photographer, took us on an amazing Safari where we saw an abundance of beautiful birds, as well as elephants and crocodiles. The food at this place was super delicious, especially the special Birthday Breakfast and picnic in the late afternoon. We also had the chance to visit a stunning ancient temple with breathtaking views. The friendly villagers and children in the small village of Pallemalala made us feel so welcomed.

The family who owned the property was soooo flexible, they literally catered to my every wish and made me feel like a queen. Bird enthusiasts, wildlife lovers, and nature enthusiasts will all be thrilled with this biologically rich park. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had the option to rent a bike or car at the hotel.

Such a shame that there's nothing negative to say about my stay, it would have been fun to complain about something.

Mind-blowing stay with incredible views of the national park, sunset, and wildlife. Super friendly and helpful staff. Jaw-dropping home-cooked meals and exclusive accommodation. Amazing morning safari with diverse animals. Superb bird watching opportunities.

The family who owned the property and lived nearby were sooo accommodating and tailored everything to my needs. The park nearby had such an incredible variety of bird species, you'd think they were showing off. The breakfast buffet was a delicious feast.

Oh, and I just loved the mosquitoes in the room, they added that extra buzz to my stay.
